How it works

Four steps to your grant

Ríomhaire Solutions guides you through the entire Digital Grow Voucher process — from your first Digital for Business assessment right through to claiming your funding.

Complete Digital for Business

The free prerequisite. A LEO-funded consultant reviews your business and recommends digital tools — up to 3 days of expert time, fully funded. We help you get this arranged.

Choose your digital tools

Ríomhaire recommends grant-eligible software tailored to your business — CRM, cloud accounting, ecommerce, cybersecurity and more.

Submit your application

We support your application through the LEO portal — helping with documentation, financial statements and making the process as smooth as possible.

We build it, you claim it

Ríomhaire implements your chosen solution, then helps you claim 50% of the cost back from your LEO — up to €5,000 returned to your business.

Eligibility criteria

Who can apply?

The grant is open to most small Irish businesses. Here's what you need to qualify — and what doesn't qualify.

    1–50 paid employeesSole traders, partnerships and limited companies all qualify, as long as at least one person is employed.
  • ✓
    Trading for 6+ monthsYour business must be established and actively trading. Very new startups (under 6 months) are not yet eligible.
  • ✓
    Based anywhere in IrelandRegistered and operating in any of the 31 LEO areas across the island of Ireland.
  • ✓
    Digital for Business completedYou must have completed the free LEO Digital for Business project within the last two years. Ríomhaire can help you start this.
  • ✓
    Not an EI / IDA clientBusinesses that are already clients of Enterprise Ireland or IDA Ireland are not eligible for this scheme.

  • Routine business expenses unrelated to digital tools

What is Ríomhaire Solutions?
Ríomhaire Solutions is an Irish IT and web design company with over 20 years of experience delivering digital solutions for SMEs. We are a specialist partner for the LEO Digital Grow Voucher, helping businesses identify, apply for and implement grant-funded digital tools.
What replaced the Trading Online Voucher?
The Digital Grow Voucher replaced the Trading Online Voucher. It offers higher funding — up to €5,000 versus the old €2,500 — and supports a wider range of digital tools including CRM, cloud accounting, cybersecurity and more.
Can I apply if I haven't done Digital for Business yet?
Yes — but you need to complete it first. The Digital for Business programme is free and fully funded by the LEO. Ríomhaire can help you get this arranged and will guide you through the entire process from start to finish.
Can I apply for the grant more than once?
Yes. You can apply for up to two vouchers, but the combined total cannot exceed €5,000. A second application requires showing clear progress since the first Digital for Business report.
How long does the application take?
The online application form takes approximately 10 minutes once you have your documents ready. The overall process from Digital for Business to approval typically takes two to four weeks. Ríomhaire will support you every step of the way.
